For more than twenty years, McKean Construction has been creating custom homes, remodels and additions throughout Santa Barbara County. With each project, we are building on our stellar reputation by working with our clients and architects to deliver quality and affordability. Our team of skilled carpenters, and our close relationships with vendors and subcontractors in our area is one of the keys to our success. 

Aaron McKean has been in the construction industry since 1985 and is passionate about what he does, always going the extra distance to ensure a superior finished product.  He has specialized in building and remodeling all styles of architecture: Cape, Victorian, Spanish and Contemporary on homes in Cape Cod, San Francisco and Santa Barbara County. Aaron has proven to be an honest, competitive, and respected builder with an attention to detail, mindfulness of budget, and has a relentless desire to make visions materialize.

McKean Construction has been featured in Design LA, Dwell Magazine, Residential Design Magazine and The Architect Tours of 2012 of Santa Barbara. Aaron McKean has also served on the Board of Directors for the Santa Barbara Contractor's Association.
